Requirements:
100g White chocolate
100g Milk chocolate
Green powder colouring
Chocolate peppermint flavouring oil
Method:
Gently melt the white chocolate. Add a tiny amount of green powder colouring and 3 drops of peppermint flavouring oil to the white chocolate and mix through well. Gently melt the milk chocolate. On a cool flat surface pour alternating rows of brown and green chocolate. Spread them out to form a thin smooth layer of chocolate. Leave the chocolate to cool. Use the edge of a sharp, flat knife (45 degree angle) to scrape thin strips of chocolate. The strips will curl as they come away. If the chocolate breaks it has set too hard. You can use a hair drier to soften it again. Chocolate curls make awesome decorations on cakes and desserts.
